Bethel’s Church board is committed to providing the structure and resources necessary to see the Bethel Church succeed. Oversight of facilities, financial management, caring for the needy, visiting the sick and shut-in, and directing the missions program of the church, are just a few of the ways that the Church Board serves the people. Together, they are committed to working alongside the pastoral staff, and church leaders to advance our mission!
Aaron’s Bethel experience began as a college student and proclaiming atheist. His life was forever changed when he gave his life to Christ at a college ministry event. Since then, he has grown in his faith with Bethel as his support and family! He is thrilled to be blessed with the honor to serve on the board and is currently discovering his place of ministry within Bethel. Aaron spends his weekdays working at DOT foods as a customer service representative and spending time with his wife Kelly and their pup Dino.
Aaron brings to the board an interesting perspective of a newly married 20 something and former atheist. He has played a part in many of Bethel’s ministries, but is currently involved in Men of Valor, Strong Foundations, and Usher/ Greeting ministries. With Romans 10:20 as his favorite verse, Aaron has a desire to reach those who have the same mindset about God that he once had. He vows to help others find their own experience Bethel moment, filled with God’s grace, mercy and love!
Larry’s Bethel experience began in early 2001. At the time he was a college student and engaged to be married. He and his bride to be, Ronda, had begun to visit area churches with the hopes of finding “their” church. Bethel was the first church they visited in Quincy and once was all it took.
Since that time they have served in a variety of church ministries; Larry more notably on the Bethel worship team and Ronda more behind the scenes (as she much prefers) with nursery and toddlers ministry. They have been blessed with 3 wonderful children Faith, Kennedy, and Briscoe who are also active in the ministries here at Bethel. Larry has served on prior boards at Bethel however is honored to again work in this leadership role. He is a servant at heart and enjoys helping out in whatever capacity needed both in and outside of the work of the church. He especially has a passion for worship ministry and loves the opportunity of leading others to press in and draw close to the Lord during these times of worship.
Doug has attended Bethel since his childhood. He is the father of two adult children. Through the years he’s seen many changes, but is very excited about the way God is manifesting himself now with the influx of new people at Bethel, and the ministries and impact our home grown missionaries are having not only in our country, but around the world!
Doug was elected to the board in March of 2017 and assigned the role of treasurer. He is also tasked with being the mission coordinator and leading the mission’s team. He feels it’s extremely important that missions be one of the primary focuses of God’s vision for Bethel. The advancement of God’s kingdom both locally and globally are the priority and we are so blessed and humbled to be able to participate in God’s passion for the lost!

Kent and his family have attended Bethel Assembly of God Church since 1997. He serves on the board as secretary and also facilitates the visitation ministry. He is active on the prayer and worship teams. His goal for Bethel is to see people have the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ with the understanding that His grace and mercy is for everyone.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Rich began attending bethel Church at age 5. Pastor Todd’s grandparents were his family’s next door neighbor and they invited his Mother to come to Bethel and bring her four children. That was 68 years ago! Bethel Youth Group is where he met his wife Shirley. They were married in Bethel and have been married for fifty-three years. They have three children whom they raised in Bethel and twelve wonderful grandchildren.
Rich’s role on the board is to be a spiritual man supporting the Pastor in prayer and working together with the pastor and the board to build the Church. Rich’s focus is evangelism and reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His job on the board is “compassion ministries”. Enlisting volunteers to help those with needs, encouraging compassionate ministry within the church and community and leading the Bethel Man Team.
